The Chris Black Memorial Fund provides annual scholarships to Roaring Fork Valley students focused on a life of personal sacrifice and community building.
The Fund focuses on Coloradans seeking financial aid to pursue a 4-year university, vocational training, and post-GI funding for graduate studies.
We will issue our first scholarship in the 2026 school year to a candidate in Basalt, CO, and to expand to scholarships throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and Western Colorado. All gifts/donations are determined and approved by the Board of Directors.
